You have the right to choose your collision repair shop - it’s the law!

Even though Michigan has an anti-steering law, some insurance companies try to steer you to their preferred Body Shop.  Be cautious - all shops are not equal! 

At Kepner’s, we will do everything in our power to give you a quality, safe repair, and will back it up with a warranty that’s good for as long as you own your vehicle.  Kepner’s will work with all insurance companies to come to an agreed price.

Check your insurance policy - almost all insurance companies demand used or after market parts to repair your vehicle.  At Kepner’s, we look out for you and will not accept poor quality parts for your vehicle.

Differences in repair estimates are common.  A lower estimate may not include all of the necessary work.  If you’re not sure why one estimate is different from another you’ve received, please ask us!

Some other things to keep in mind:

  • Choose a shop that has unibody repair equipment and certified (by I-CAR or ASE, for example) technicians.
  • Ask if the shop will be using genuine manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts.
  • Ask if the shop offers a repair warranty.
  • Let us help you negotiate your claim with the insurance company.
